Sr Facilities Technician

1st Shift

$28-34/hour


Must Haves:

  • 3+ years of maintenance experience within a GMP regulated environment
  • Associate Degree in Electrical Automation, Industrial Maintenance, Electronics, Electrical systems or related field required or equivalent training in Armed Forces training schools preferred
  • Experience in the following areas:
  • AC/DC electrical power systems / supplies 
  • Industrial manufacturing equipment, automated systems 
  • Automation electronics, electrical controls / PLCs 
  • Proximity and optical sensors, signal wiring / connectivity
  • Pneumatics, hydraulics and associated controls 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Determine the appropriate course of action for equipment repairs and adjust priorities as needed to maintain the safety, reliability, and efficiency of production equipment and support systems.
  • Test equipment following repairs to verify proper operation and ensure the work area is left clean, organized, and safe.
  • Operate maintenance and testing equipment, perform required tests, and accurately document and report results.
  • Inspect and test equipment or products using established methods, procedures, and setups, making necessary adjustments or modifications to ensure proper performance.
  • Interpret and work from electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions to complete maintenance and repair activities.
  • Complete all assigned preventive maintenance (PM) tasks and work orders accurately and on schedule, including required inspections and equipment checks.
  • Perform functionality, alignment, and operational checks, making necessary adjustments, modifications, and component replacements as directed.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on a variety of manufacturing equipment and associated support systems to ensure reliable operation.
  • Respond promptly to production downtime issues and troubleshoot equipment to minimize interruptions and restore operations efficiently.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems within an industrial manufacturing environment.
