Role Overview
As a Senior AV/IT Field Engineer, you will be at the forefront of designing, installing, and maintaining advanced AV/IT systems. You'll work with a diverse range of technologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional AV solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Program and troubleshoot Crestron systems, including SIMPL and HTML5.
- Configure DSPs, with a preference for Biamp systems.
- Manage Dante configurations and audio commissioning.
- Implement AVoIP systems and AV networking fundamentals.
- Handle video streaming technologies and digital signage platforms.
- Install and configure Zoom Rooms and Microsoft Teams Rooms.
- Provide Windows and macOS hardware/software support.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, requests, and configurations.
- Support the full lifecycle of AV/IT systems from design to retirement.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Crestron, Extron, and AMX control systems.
- Experience with DSP configuration and AVoIP systems.
- Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and possess a valid driver's license.
- Onsite presence with occasional evening/weekend work.
- Experience interfacing with consultants, AV integrators, and vendors.
Preferences
- AVIXA CTS or CTS-I certification.
- ITIL Foundations certification.
- Crestron certifications.
- Dante Level 2/3 certification.
