Senior Financial Planning & Process Improvement Analyst

Join Wolters Kluwer's GBS Finance team and help drive financial performance, process excellence, and business transformation across a global organization.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and results-oriented finance professional who combines strong FP&A capabilities with a passion for process improvement and operational excellence. In this role, you will partner with finance and business leaders to deliver actionable financial insights while identifying opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, and improve key business processes.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, leading change, and driving measurable business impact.

What You'll Do

  • Lead forecasting, budgeting, financial reporting, and variance analysis activities.

  • Develop financial models, business cases, and executive-level insights to support decision-making.

  • Identify risks, opportunities, and performance trends across the organization.

  • Lead process improvement initiatives focused on simplification, standardization, and efficiency.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to redesign and optimize finance and operational processes.

  • Drive automation and reporting enhancements using modern finance and analytics tools.

  • Support finance transformation initiatives, system enhancements, and continuous improvement programs.

  • Develop KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics that improve business visibility and accountability.

  • Manage projects and influence stakeholders across a complex, global environment.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, finance operations, business analysis, or finance transformation.

  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.

  • Experience leading process improvement or business transformation initiatives.

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with planning and reporting tools such as Tagetik, Power BI or similar platforms.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills.

  • A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to challenge the status quo and drive change.

Why This Role?

This is more than a traditional finance analyst position. You will serve as a trusted business partner who helps shape how GBS Finance operates-improving decision-making, simplifying processes, leveraging technology, and driving efficiencies that enable the organization to scale and succeed.

If you are passionate about both finance and transformation, we'd love to hear from you.
