Senior Finance Associate - Boston - Hybrid

A leading alternative investment manager is seeking a Senior Associate, Fund Finance, to join its growing finance team. This role offers broad exposure to complex alternative credit strategies and the opportunity to work across fund accounting, financial reporting, investment operations, and cross-functional initiatives within a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:
• Review fund NAVs, investor statements, and financial reports prepared by third-party administrators
• Support monthly and quarterly close processes, reconciliations, and fund expense calculations
• Monitor capital activity, distributions, valuations, and portfolio cash flows
• Manage shadow accounting records and support complex investment transactions, including restructurings, PIK income, and valuation adjustments
• Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, administrators, and internal teams across Legal, Compliance, Investor Relations, and Investments
• Assist with process improvements, internal controls, and workflow automation initiatives

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred 
• 3+ years of experience in fund accounting, fund administration, public accounting, asset management, private credit, private equity, or financial services
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and investment fund accounting principles
