An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced accountant to join the finance team as a Financial Manager. This role is focused on the day-to-day financial management of the bank and is ideal for a qualified accountant who thrives in a financial reporting and control environment. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the bank's financial reporting, maintaining a robust control framework, and supporting statutory and audit requirements. The role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and interaction with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Treasury, Risk and Compliance. The Financial Manager will be responsible for the preparation and review of monthly management accounts, ensuring the timely and accurate completion of month-end close activities, and maintaining a strong financial control environment. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with approximately six years or more of post-qualification experience gained within banking, financial services or another regulated environment. You will possess strong technical accounting skills and be comfortable taking ownership of financial reporting, statutory accounts and financial controls within a complex business.
