Job Overview - Senior Financial Accountant - 34334

We are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to support complex accounting activities related to acquisitions, investments, and corporate transactions. This role offers exposure to financial reporting, technical accounting, month-end close, and process improvement initiatives within a large, dynamic organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead post-acquisition accounting activities, including integration support, financial analysis, and off-ledger reporting
  • Review and record equity method investments
  • Coordinate intercompany accounting activity across multiple business units
  • Prepare journal entries and support month-end close activities
  • Complete timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations
  • Support annual audit activities by preparing schedules and requested documentation
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
  • Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and reporting for management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA or CPA candidate preferred
  • 2-5 years of accounting or finance experience within public accounting and/or industry
  • Understanding of US GAAP and IFRS accounting principles
  • Public accounting experience is a plus
  • Experience with internal controls, SOX compliance, or audit support preferred
  • Experience with ERP or financial reporting systems such as SAP, Hyperion, or Essbase is beneficial
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
