Overview
The Senior Financial Accountant plays a critical financial role by bridging the gap between field operations and corporate financial reporting. In this role, you will master the operational lifecycle of a pipeline inspection run-from tool launch to final data reporting-to accurately capture financial performance.
Utilizing Microsoft Dynamics 365, you will ensure strict compliance with ASC 606 by recognizing revenue as inspection milestones are achieved in the field.
As a key driver of the month-end close process, you will be directly responsible for preparing and posting core journal entries and performing comprehensive balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Process monthly revenue recognition (ASC 606) in D365, including:
General Ledger: Perform balance sheet reconciliations, post journal entries, and assist with financial statement preparation.
Audit Support: Prepare documentation and reports for external annual audits.
