Pay Range: $50/hr - $55/hr
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to support strategic, operational, and project-based financial initiatives. This role will partner closely with project managers, technology teams, and finance leadership to deliver accurate financial planning, forecasting, variance analysis, and business case development. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving financial transparency, supporting investment decisions, and ensuring effective cost management across large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead end-to-end financial planning and analysis for project portfolios, including budgeting, forecasting, actuals tracking, and variance analysis
- Develop, review, and validate business cases (BC/CBA) for new initiatives, renewals, and major investments
- Track project and operational spend against budgets, identifying risks and opportunities, and communicating insights to stakeholders
- Partner with project and delivery teams to ensure accurate cost allocation, accruals, chargebacks, and cost center management
- Support forecast updates, run-rate analysis, and savings realization tracking for ongoing initiatives
- Prepare executive-level financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to support decision-making
- Ensure compliance with financial controls, governance frameworks, and audit requirements
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency, cost discipline, and reporting accuracy
Must-Have Skills:- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably supporting IT projects or technology finance
- Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with enterprise financial systems such as SAP, Coupa, or similar tools
- Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in cross-functional environments
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management abilities
Industry Experience:- Experience in technology, IT finance, or enterprise project environments preferred
- Exposure to large-scale transformation initiatives, infrastructure, or digital programs is a plus
- Experience working in large, matrixed organizations with multiple cost centers and funding models preferred
