AWS is seeking a Finance Manager to play a key role on the Infrastructure Central Finance team. This team is responsible for planning and tracking billions of dollars of investments and operating expenses in data centers, servers and networking equipment and that allow AWS to serve customers across the globe. This role will be responsible for driving insights and analysis that will help shape the AWS investment strategy in servers, inclusive AI. The successful candidate will lead a team to build scalable analyses, key performance indicators, and insights that will be shared with AWS Business and Finance Leadership to inform decision making. This position will work closely with multiple stakeholders in finance, product development and supply chain across the organization to align critical inputs, ranges of outcomes, and confidence intervals. This is a high judgment role that has direct exposure to Amazon's C-suite and board of directors, requiring someone who can execute without structured guidance, navigate ambiguity, and effectively deliver results in a fast-paced environment. Key job responsibilities - Develop and maintain detailed infrastructure capital and spending forecasts related to infrastructure technology supply chain; track actual spending and bridge variances; partner with stakeholders to identify and communicate insights and business risks to senior leaders. - Identify opportunities for simplifying or automating processes with upstream and downstream stakeholders to eliminate defects and reduce lead time to build reports and insights - Support ad-hoc requests from finance and business executives Basic Qualifications - 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field - 3+ years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience - 3+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience Preferred Qualifications - 4+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience - 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience - Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards) - MBA, or CPA Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
