The Senior Financial analyst will partner with the Secure Work Enablement business team and leadership within AWS Applied AI Solutions and provide financial support for pricing strategy, revenue growth, cost optimization, and financial planning. A successful candidate will love to learn and be curious and dive deep to understand and identify business trends, analyze quantitatively and problem-solve. Key job responsibilities -Partner with business stakeholders to co-create business strategies, develop financial models, derive actionable data-driven insights and analytics to influence leadership decision-making to drive revenue growth and promote cost discipline. -Contribute with deep-dive analyses and insights in Weekly, Quarterly and Monthly Business Reviews -Lead development and implementation of the long term strategic plan, annual operating plan, and quarterly forecasts. -Design private pricing strategies to enable top line growth while ensuring controllership and margin protection -Manage projects that significantly impact the business including partnering with engineering teams to identify and implement infrastructure cost optimizations. -Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed and present findings to senior management. A day in the life - Reports and key metrics ownership such as P&L, MBR and WBRs - Develop business insights and analyses. - Compile and review financial results, create forecast and operational plans and communicate to finance/business leaders - Support modeling efforts for pricing, product strategy and infrastructure investment decisions Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science), or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience - 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience Preferred Qualifications - MBA Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
