The Senior Financial Analyst, Costing plays a critical role in providing financial support and guidance to the Supply Chain organization, the primary responsibility will be ensuring the overall accuracy and integrity of cost-related financial information. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated and can work well both independently and within a team. They are a self-starter that is eager to work on and learn various aspects of Finance, including business partnering, financial closing, Inventory and Fixed assets management, and Cost releases.
What you will do:
Month-End & Variances: Conduct weekly reviews of cost variances, prepare Month-End (ME) PPV Reports, and execute Bulk Reclassifications aligned with CBS.
Inventory & SLOBs: Manage overall inventory and safety stock, mitigate SLOB risks by reviewing CM files, and oversee the end-to-end material disposal process.
Fixed & Idle Assets: Maintain the asset register, manage Idle Asset Ageing, and execute Capitalization Requests in strict alignment with engineering.
Asset Operations: Conduct Monthly Work in Progress (MWIP) reviews, support cross-site physical counts, and collaborate on asset tagging and write-offs.
Compliance & Data: Ensure compliance with SOX Controls, process Master Data Update requests, and rectify external reporting errors on CM material lists.
Costing Updates: Drive quarterly CoMan Standard Cost Updates, ensure active SKUs are costed, manage Promo/No Promo tracking, and provide Estimated Costing support.
Spend Analysis: Review the Spend File to provide MYR/COS spend calculations based on volumes and verify correct credit applications.
Reconciliations: Reconcile Accrual Accounts, track Long Term Receivables, and conduct General Ledger preparation and reviews using internal tools.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field of study
Minimum of five years of finance experience, preferably within a multinational or manufacturing/CPG environment focusing on cost accounting.
Must be able to demonstrate a solid understanding and actual application of internal control structures, systems and processes
Must possess advanced to expert-level experience with Microsoft Excel and experience with Google Suite, particularly Sheets, Slides and Docs
Preferred Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience working with SAP financial systems
Strong understanding of SAP O2I, R2R and P2P work stream
SAP and Business Warehouse skills
CPA (Certified Public Accountant), MBA (Masters of Business Administration), CMA (Certified Management Accountant)
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Demonstrated communication skills including interpersonal, oral, written and presentation abilities
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $96,800.00 - $137,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
