Amazon seeks a skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team supporting merchandising partnerships for Worldwide Grocery Stores, including Whole Foods Market. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver financial insights that drive strategic decision making. You"ll contribute to financial processes, support continuous improvement efforts, and uncover insights for business partners and finance leadership. This position requires strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for translating data into actionable recommendations.

As a key member of our finance team, you will support business review processes ensuring accuracy of results, contribute to financial commentary, and provide corroborating detail for weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews. You"ll help identify risks, opportunities, and notable KPI variances while working with global partners to implement tactics that align with our company"s vision for exceptional customer experiences.

Key job responsibilities

  • Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and analysis to support decision-making through formulating and executing financial analysis that identifies root causes impacting business performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex business questions, using data to build reports and financial models that drive communication at the senior manager level.
  • Proactively dive deep to ensure reporting accuracy, identify incomplete or inaccurate data, determine root causes, and execute fixes while insisting on the highest standards.
  • Support business review processes by analyzing financial data, contributing to commentary, and providing corroborating detail that highlights risks, opportunities, and KPI variances.
  • Build and maintain financial reporting across multiple variables, turning data into insights for stakeholders while developing relationships with business partners, managers, and peers.
