Reports directly to Senior Director of FP&A, providing support primarily in the areas of focus:
- Financial modeling and analysis
- Working in cross-functional teams to support company-wide growth initiatives
- Due diligence administration
- Integration administration
Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis
Develop key macro-economic, end-market and industry assumptions along with operational assumptions in collaboration with various functional teams.
Construct valuation models for organic and inorganic growth projects with Senior Director of FP&A and support senior management reviews.
Play a significant role in developing machine learning applications to support operations.
Business Growth and Acquisition Support
Support business growth opportunities including acquisition analyses by assisting with:
Due diligence of target companies
Preparation of presentation for management
Integration of new acquisitions
Project tracking and coordinating
Overall Responsibilities
Serve as back up for other members of FP&A
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
MBA with concentration in Finance or equivalent master's degree
Minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in manufacturing / metals industry environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to build and analyze comprehensive financial models
High level skills in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
Self-starter with a strong desire to learn and grow
Demonstrated systems experience with ability to learn new financial and reporting systems (e.g., Onstream)
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as a team member with excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task and work independently, and rapidly respond to frequent, small requests
CFA/CPA is a plus
