Are you a Senior Financial Analyst who enjoys partnering with business leaders, solving complex business problems, and turning financial data into meaningful insights?

We're partnering with a well-established engineering and professional services firm seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to help support and expand its FP&A capabilities. This highly visible role will work closely with finance leadership and operational teams, supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and business decision-making. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, advanced reporting capabilities, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.

What You'll Do

Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes
Develop financial models, revenue projections, and scenario analyses to support business decisions
Perform financial and variance analysis, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
Partner with project and operational leaders to provide financial insights and decision support
Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards, KPI reporting, and executive presentations
Analyze business performance, project financials, workload, and profitability
Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data integrity, and financial systems
Present financial results and recommendations to senior leadership

What We're Looking For

Experience in corporate FP&A, financial analysis, or a related finance role
Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis skills
Experience partnering with operational, project, or business leaders
Strong Power BI skills, including dashboard development and data visualization
Advanced Excel skills and strong financial systems aptitude
Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable business insights
Experience in professional services, engineering, construction, manufacturing, or another project-based environment is a plus
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Compensation & Benefits

$110,000–$135,000 base salary, with flexibility for the right candidate
10% target bonus
10% profit-sharing contribution
