Senior Financial Analyst
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and driven Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business performance analysis across multiple business units. This role will partner closely with finance leadership and operational stakeholders to deliver actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making and improve business results.
The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling skills, experience working with large datasets, and a passion for translating financial data into meaningful business recommendations. Key Responsibilities
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
Develop and maintain financial models to analyze revenue, expenses, margins, labor costs, and key business drivers.
Prepare and deliver financial reporting packages, variance analyses, and performance dashboards for management review.
Analyze business results and provide insights into trends, risks, opportunities, and operational performance.
Partner with finance, accounting, and operational leaders to validate forecasts and improve financial visibility.
Assist in the preparation of executive presentations, business reviews, and strategic planning materials.
Conduct ad hoc financial analyses related to pricing, labor, capital investments, profitability, and growth initiatives.
Create and enhance reporting tools, dashboards, and automated processes to improve efficiency and decision support.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend actions to improve financial and operational performance.
Support special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
3+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), corporate finance, accounting, or a related analytical finance function.
Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.
Experience working with business intelligence and planning tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Power Query, Planful, or similar platforms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build strong business relationships.
Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to contribute to a data-driven, performance-focused culture.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting multi-location, regional, or highly operational businesses.
Experience with forecasting methodologies, KPI development, and performance management.
CPA, CMA, MBA, or progress toward certification is a plus.
