The Senior Financial Analyst focuses heavily on efficiency, cost drivers, and resource optimization to improve the companys bottom line. This individual will be a proactive leader, able to challenge the status quo, foster collaboration, and ensure alignment between finance and operational goals. Are You Looking To:
Analyze key business drivers like labor efficiency, inventory turnover, and supply chain costs to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Partner with operations managers to build annual budgets and monthly forecasts that reflect realistic production or service capacities.
Conduct deep dives into "Actual vs. Plan" results, explaining the why behind cost overruns or savings in operational departments.
Build complex models to evaluate the ROI of capital expenditures ($CapEx$), such as new machinery, facility expansions, or technology implementations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics) to streamline workflows and reduce waste.
Develop and maintain KPI dashboards that provide real-time visibility into operational health for senior leadership.
Establish and maintain an ongoing working relationship with other sub-processes and functions.
Demonstrate leadership and initiative competencies as well as the ability to identify root causes of issues and discover/implement practical solutions
Are You Ready To:
Serve as backup to Sr. Cost Accountant, identify process improvements in annual standard cost roll.
Have a strong understanding of GAAP accounting guidance as well as internal controls.
Assume a leadership role in the design, implementation, and ongoing improvement of subordinates and the financial systems to ensure organizational consistency and support the growth of the business.
Assume other projects and responsibilities as directed.
Have regular and predictable attendance is presumed to be an essential function of all employment.
Report directly to the Controller.
What Youll Need:
Degree in Accounting or Finance, or five years of an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
Four or more years of experience in Accounting and Financial functions with at least two or more years of proven experience in financial analysis, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
Ability to travel up to 20%.
Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
What Youll Get:
Compensation range of $75,000 to $100,000. The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidates geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
