Senior Financial Analyst

Our client, a successful and growing privately held manufacturer in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its Finance and Accounting team. This highly visible role will serve as a key business partner across the organization, helping drive data-driven decision making through enhanced financial reporting, dashboard development, and process improvement initiatives.

The Senior Financial Analyst will play an integral role in transforming financial data into meaningful business insights. The ideal candidate will have strong financial analysis experience within a manufacturing environment and be an advanced user of Power BI, leveraging reporting tools to streamline processes, improve visibility into business performance, and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions that provide actionable insights to Finance, Accounting, Operations, and Executive Leadership.

• Drive continuous improvement of financial and operational reporting processes, focusing on automation, efficiency, and data accuracy.

• Analyze financial results, identify trends, variances, and key business drivers, and communicate findings to management.

• Partner with Accounting and Finance leadership to improve monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting capabilities.

• Design and implement KPI dashboards that support operational and financial performance management.

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.

• Create and maintain financial models to support business initiatives, capital investments, and strategic planning.

• Collaborate with IT, Operations, and Finance teams to improve data integrity and reporting infrastructure.

• Support month-end close activities through reporting, analysis, and management presentations.

• Provide ad hoc analysis and recommendations to support organizational growth and profitability initiatives.

• Identify opportunities to standardize reporting processes and reduce manual spreadsheet-driven activities.

• Assist in building a data-driven culture by training and supporting end users on reporting tools and analytics.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.

• MBA, CMA, or CPA designation is a plus.

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance experience.

• Experience within a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.

• Demonstrated success developing financial reporting and analytical tools that improve business performance.

• Experience partnering with cross-functional business leaders.

Technical Skills

• Advanced Power BI expertise is required.

• Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Experience with ERP systems and data reporting tools.

• Knowledge of SQL, Power Query, DAX, or other business intelligence tools is a plus.

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
