Sr. Financial Analyst

Location: Vernon, CA

Employment Type: Contract to Hire

Compensation: $55.00-$65.00 per hour

A growing consumer products company headquartered in Vernon is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Senior Financial Analyst to join its Finance team. This role will support key business initiatives through financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, operational reporting, and technology transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting processes.

  • Prepare and manage annual operating budgets and long-range financial plans.

  • Develop financial models to analyze revenue, margins, expenses, and profitability.

  • Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, and Executive Leadership to provide financial support and business insights.

  • Analyze financial results, identify trends, and explain variances against budget and forecast.

  • Create and maintain KPI dashboards and management reporting packages.

  • Support AI-driven analytics initiatives and automation projects to enhance reporting and forecasting capabilities.

  • Assist with ERP, financial planning, and business intelligence system implementations and upgrades.

  • Evaluate business processes and recommend improvements to streamline reporting and planning functions.

  • Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and presentations for senior management.

  • Support month-end and year-end financial close processes as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

  • 5+ years of progressive financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance experience.

  • Experience preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial models in a corporate environment.

  • Strong understanding of financial statements and business performance metrics.

  • Experience supporting ERP implementations, system conversions, or financial technology projects.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex modeling and data analysis.

  • Experience with ERP systems, Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting platforms preferred.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $65.00 per hour
