Senior Financial Analyst to support our client's healthcare facility in
Washington, DC.

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Location: Washington, DC 20060 (1OO% on-site)

Job Type: Local contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks with the potential for direct hire if the candidate and opportunity align.
Pay Range: $63.50 to $68.00/hour*
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.
Duties: - Perform financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning.
- Conduct budget-to-actual and month-end variance analysis and reconciliation.
- Analyze labor, productivity, revenue, expenses, margins, KPIs, and service lines.
- Develop financial models, proformas, ROI analyses, and capital request evaluations.
- Prepare financial and operational reports for leadership and support strategic decisions.
- Use Power Query to gather, clean, transform, combine, and analyze data.
- Utilize Power BI for dashboards, reporting, visualization, and analysis.
- Support annual budget preparation, including volume, revenue, and expense planning.
- Partner with finance, accounting, clinical, and operational teams to investigate financial trends and variances.
- Provide day-to-day financial support and complete ad-hoc analyses.
Requirements: - Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred; 10–15 years of relevant experience may substitute.
- Preferred/Plus: MBA or master’s degree, CPA, DataRails, Lawson, ERP implementation/conversion experience.

- Years of experience:
- Approximately 5+ years of financial analysis, accounting, financial management, or decision-support experience.
- Strong healthcare/hospital financial and operational analysis experience; acute-care experience strongly preferred.
- In-depth hands-on Power Query experience – required/top priority.
- Power BI experience – strongly preferred.
- Skills/Specialties/Technology:
- Advanced Excel skills: PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, complex formulas, and financial modeling.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and healthcare/hospital operations.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, productivity analysis, and financial modeling.
- Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and project-management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and handle confidential financial information.
