    Description

    Location: Hybrid role based in Hingham, MA


    Compensation: Base salary of $105,000 to $115,000 plus bonuses.



    Overview:


    Our client is seeking a Senior Financial Planning Analyst (CPA) to play a key role in supporting financial advisors through advanced financial planning, case preparation, and client service. This individual will serve as a senior resource within the office, assisting with complex planning scenarios, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring the smooth execution of financial planning processes. The ideal candidate has a CPA designation, several years of experience in financial services, and a passion for delivering exceptional client support.



    Responsibilities:


    • Gather and analyze financial information for advisor meetings with clients and prospects.
    • Prepare annual review materials and develop financial planning and investment proposals.
    • Input and maintain financial planning data within planning software, including all planning modules and asset allocation recommendations.
    • Review financial plans and recommendations for accuracy and completeness before client presentation.
    • Assist advisors with complex financial planning analyses and client cases.
    • Recommend portfolio and investment allocation strategies.
    • Maintain client files, case notes, account documentation, and planning records.
    • Serve as a liaison between advisors, clients, the home office, and investment partners.
    • Resolve complex service and administrative issues while ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
    • Mentor and assist in training junior team members on planning processes and office procedures.



    Qualifications:


    • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) required.
    • Series 7, 63, and Health & Life Insurance License preferred.
    • 4-5+ years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or insurance.
    • Strong financial planning and analytical skills with experience supporting advisors.
    • Experience with financial planning software and investment proposal tools.
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Self-motivated with sound judgment, professionalism, and a commitment to continuous learning.
    • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with advisors and team members.
