The Senior Finisher will perform required finishing process to product per engineering and customer specifications. Work with engineers, assemblers, and technicians to identify process improvements to improve safety, productivity, and quality.
Are You Looking To:
Apply epoxy to seal product; sand epoxy finish; repair voids as needed.
Paint units required to print specifications. Mix paint per specifications.
Test units as required to verify they meet engineering specifications.
Train new employees as needed on process and quality.
Screen print part identification and information.
Use ovens as needed to bake and cure finishing materials.
Perform required maintenance checks on tools and equipment as well as basic repairs when needed.
Maintain silk screen log and ensure that they comply with engineering drawings.
Maintain Military - MIL-SPEC standard 2007 paint system.
Maintain Military - MIS2007 Enthrone Ink paint system.
Test custom-built units that call out for leak testing operation.
Perform preventative maintenance on Leak test machinery.
Notify Lead or Supervisor when chemicals need to be ordered.
Demonstrate mechanical ability.
Perform other duties as required. These duties may include assignment in job classifications other than the primary assignment.
Are You Ready To:
Train all finishers to ensure that all customer requirements are met.
Have regular and predictable attendance is presumed to be and essential function of all employment.
Report to the Production Supervisor.
Communicate effectively at all levels, while exhibiting strong interpersonal skills and effective team skills.
Be responsible for the generation, labeling, storage, and other general management of hazardous waste. Maintain "Hazardous Waste Management Training" compliance once per year in accordance with Minn. R. 7045.0292.
Complete High Volume/Low Pressure Paint Gun Training upon hire or transfer into the position.
Perform all preventative maintenance in the paint booth.
What Youll Need:
High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
3+ years of experience performing set-ups on similar production equipment.
Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
