We're seeking an experienced Senior Fire Protection Engineer (PE) to join a nationally recognized architecture and engineering firm supporting complex federal and military healthcare projects across the United States and internationally. What You'll Do
- Review fire protection system designs for compliance with NFPA, UFC, and applicable codes and standards
- Evaluate fire suppression and detection system documentation, testing results, and acceptance reports
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, project stakeholders, and installation fire department representatives
- Prepare technical reports, review summaries, recommendations, and quality assurance documentation
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance on fire protection engineering best practices
- Support multidisciplinary project teams throughout design and review phases
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- 10+ years of fire protection engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of NFPA, UFC, and applicable fire protection codes and standards
- Experience designing fire protection systems for government or federal projects
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams
