We're seeking an experienced Senior Fire Protection Engineer (PE) to join a nationally recognized architecture and engineering firm supporting complex federal and military healthcare projects across the United States and internationally. What You'll Do

  • Review fire protection system designs for compliance with NFPA, UFC, and applicable codes and standards
  • Evaluate fire suppression and detection system documentation, testing results, and acceptance reports
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, project stakeholders, and installation fire department representatives
  • Prepare technical reports, review summaries, recommendations, and quality assurance documentation
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance on fire protection engineering best practices
  • Support multidisciplinary project teams throughout design and review phases

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • 10+ years of fire protection engineering experience
  • Strong knowledge of NFPA, UFC, and applicable fire protection codes and standards
  • Experience designing fire protection systems for government or federal projects
  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams
