Job Description

As an Individual Contributor, this role supports revenue growth and client retention by contributing to the origination and expansion of Foreign Exchange (FX) business across assigned client segments. This role partners closely with Relationship Officers to analyze client needs, support FX solution positioning, and enhance the international payments experience while adhering to regulatory and risk standards.

Responsibilities

  • Client Growth and Sales Support: Contributes to FX business growth by identifying client opportunities and supporting a consultative, needs-based sales approach focused primarily on spot FX and international payment solutions. Participates in joint client calls, portfolio reviews, and targeted outreach to increase FX adoption and wallet share.

  • Relationship and Pipeline Coordination: Partners with Professional Relationship Officers to support FX opportunity pipelines and integrate FX discussions into broader relationship strategies. Coordinates follow-ups and supports ongoing client engagement efforts across assigned portfolios.

  • Initiative and Campaign Support: Supports FX campaigns, promotions, and go-to-market initiatives aligned with business priorities. Assists with tracking performance metrics, including pipeline activity, conversion, volume, and revenue, and provides observations to inform adjustments.

  • Cross-Functional Execution and Service Delivery: Coordinates with Trading, Treasury, Operations, and other internal partners to support pricing requests, execution needs, and issue resolution. Maintains responsiveness to client and internal inquiries to support timely and accurate delivery.

  • Risk and Compliance Adherence: Follows internal policies, regulatory requirements, and suitability standards for all FX activity. Adheres to Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) expectations and escalates issues appropriately.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in related field. Equivalent work experience or certification(s) may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Advisor-Minimum 4 years of experience in FX sales, treasury solutions, international payments, or related banking roles, with a solid understanding of spot FX fundamentals and international payment flows.
  • Senior Advisor-Minimum 6 years of experience in FX sales, treasury solutions, international payments, or related banking roles, with a strong working knowledge of spot FX fundamentals, payment flows, and client use cases.
  • Foundational familiarity with common FX risk management products, such as forwards, NDFs, and swaps, and an interest in developing deeper expertise over time.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Intermediate knowledge and skill proficiency in agility, business development, consultative solutions, cross functional collaboration, customer experience, economic & market awareness, international banking, laws & regulations, persuasion & influence, product/service knowledge, relationship management and technology literacy.
  • Ability to engage clients and internal partners while managing multiple priorities with attention to detail. Consistent application of sound judgment and adherence to risk discipline, documentation standards, and established policies.
