Job Description
A corporate finance organization is seeking an FP&A Manager to support financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and month-end close activities in a fully remote, East Coast-based role.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Standard business (EST)
- Setting: Remote
Responsibilities:
- Manage monthly corporate FP&A close activities and ensure reporting accuracy
- Prepare monthly reporting packages, executive presentations, and leadership materials
- Analyze actuals, budgets, forecasts, and prior-year results to explain variances and trends
- Support planning, forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes across corporate functions
- Partner with Accounting, Finance, and other business teams to maintain reporting quality and improve planning workflows
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of FP&A, financial planning, or corporate finance experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, budgeting and forecasting, and variance analysis
- Experience supporting month-end close activities
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and data analysis.
- Experience with Oracle EPM
- Experience creating and refreshing executive-level PowerPoint presentations
- Experience supporting month-end close activities
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
Desired Skills:
- MBA, CPA, or related advanced credential
- Experience with JD Edwards, SAP, Anaplan, Power BI, or similar financial planning and reporting tools
- Background in CPG, manufacturing, consumer products, or other large corporate environments
- Experience supporting public-company reporting or complex corporate environments
- Experience improving or automating FP&A processes
