This role is responsible for driving activities related to budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial modeling, and reporting across a defined set of internal entities. The Senior Associate will prepare and develop core FP&A deliverables, partner with internal functional teams, and contribute to process improvement and technology initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, hands-on FP&A experience, and a genuine interest in leveraging technology to improve how the team works.ResponsibilitiesOwn the preparation and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses for a defined set of internal entitiesBuild, maintain, and continuously improve 3-statement financial models (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with a high degree of accuracy and auditabilityPrepare and develop executive reporting packages and management dashboards that translate financial data into clear, decision-ready narrativesOwn variance commentary, headcount trend analysis, and period-over-period performance summaries for senior leadership reviewSupport the annual operating plan (AOP) process for assigned entities — gathering inputs, preparing consolidations, and ensuring data accuracy in close partnership with the FP&A ManagerStrategic Planning & Business PartneringSupport the 3-year strategic planning process by preparing financial projections, scenario analyses, and sensitivity models for assigned entities as directedPartner with department heads and functional teams to develop financial analyses that inform operational and investment decisionsPrepare ad hoc financial models, business cases, and investment analyses in support of strategic initiativesDevelop and present financial findings to senior leadership; build confidence and presence in cross-functional and executive forumsTechnology, AI & Process InnovationOwn planning and reporting in OneStream or the team's CPM platform for assigned entities; maintain data integrity and model consistencyActively apply AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies to improve analytical workflows, automate recurring tasks, and accelerate reportingIdentify process inefficiencies and drive improvement initiatives — automation, standardization, and manual effort reduction within assigned scopeBuild and maintain data visualizations and management reports using Power BI, Tableau, or comparable BI toolsSupport general ledger categorization alignment between FP&A and Accounting; flag and resolve data discrepancies within assigned entitiesContribute as a knowledgeable participant in broader ERP and platform initiatives (Microsoft Dynamics 365, Workday Adaptive, or similar)Collaborate with Accounting on month-end close activities, intercompany reconciliations, and GL integrity for assigned entitiesEnsure GAAP compliance across all financial reporting and analytical outputsSet a high bar for accuracy and auditability in all work product; serve as a quality resource for junior team members on shared deliverables.Requirements5–7 years of progressive experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, Big 4 Advisory, or a related field; at least 3 years in a substantive FP&A capacityBachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field; CPA or MBA a plusExperience with OneStream, Workday Adaptive, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or a comparable CPM/ERP platform; OneStream a strong plusAdvanced Excel and financial modeling skills; demonstrated ability to independently build and maintain complex 3-statement modelsDemonstrated interest in and experience with AI tools, automation, or technology-enabled finance workflowsExperience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization platforms preferredProven ability to own FP&A deliverables end-to-end with a high degree of independenceDeveloping track record of partnering with and presenting to business stakeholders on financial mattersExperience in financial services, PE-backed, or multi-entity environments strongly preferredFoundational accounting knowledge; familiarity with month-end close or GL management a plusWhat We're Looking ForA technically strong, ownership-oriented finance professional who takes full accountability for their work and brings intellectual curiosity to the story behind the numbers.
