ReactJS Developer
Position Overview
Confidence Systems is looking for a strong, hands-on ReactJS Front-End Developer / UI Engineering Rockstar to join the team.
We are seeking someone who is highly proficient in ReactJS and modern front-end development, with a proven ability to build clean, scalable, responsive, and high-performance web applications.
The ideal candidate should be a strong individual contributor who takes ownership, has excellent attention to detail, and can turn product and design requirements into polished production-ready experiences.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain modern, responsive web applications using ReactJS.
• Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable React components.
• Translate UI/UX designs and product requirements into high-quality front-end solutions.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and other backend services.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, accessibility, and responsiveness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex front-end issues.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to front-end architecture and best practices.
• Write clean, well-structured, maintainable, and testable code.
• Take ownership of features from development through deployment.
• Stay current with modern React and front-end technologies.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience developing applications with ReactJS.
• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript.
• Strong experience with HTML5 and CSS3.
• Deep understanding of React concepts including:
  • React Hooks
  • Component architecture
  • State management
  • Props and lifecycle
  • Reusable component design
• Experience integrating REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of responsive web development and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with Git/GitHub and modern development workflows.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Next.js.
• Experience with TypeScript.
• Experience with Redux, Zustand, React Query, or similar technologies.
• Experience with Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Experience building or working with design systems/component libraries.
• Knowledge of web performance optimization and accessibility.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Rockstar Front-End Developer Profile
We're particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate:

• A strong React portfolio with real-world applications.
• Excellent understanding of modern front-end architecture.
• Strong UI/UX implementation skills.
• Ability to build polished, production-quality interfaces.
• Ownership mentality and strong attention to detail.
• Experience solving complex front-end engineering challenges.
• A track record of meaningful contributions to GitHub/open-source projects is a plus.
