Overview
The Senior Frontend Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high scale, production ready solutions that align with organizational engineering standards. This role requires deep technical expertise, leadership in engineering practices, and the ability to build scalable, secure, and resilient frontend systems—particularly in a micro frontend architecture.
The engineer will contribute to architectural decisions, mentor junior team members, remove technical bottlenecks, and drive best practices across multiple product domains.Key Responsibilities
Core Engineering

• Write, test, and document high quality technical work products (code, scripts, processes) aligned with organizational standards.
• Solve complex technical problems and build reusable components/libraries with cross team impact.
• Lead root cause analysis of systemic issues and drive corrective action strategies.
• Design scalable, integrated frontend systems that enable rapid delivery with reliability and performance.
• Oversee and reduce technical debt across existing systems; identify opportunities to simplify and modernize codebases.
• Anticipate scaling, performance, latency, and durability concerns and guide teams in implementing mitigation strategies.

Mandatory Skills
1. HTML/CSS

• Strong understanding of responsive design principles.
• Experience with CSS preprocessors such as SASS or LESS.

2. JavaScript / TypeScript

• Advanced knowledge of TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).

3. Frontend Frameworks & Architecture

• Experience with JSPs and migration from JSPs to modern frameworks.
• Strong expertise in Angular.
• Experience with state management libraries such as NGRX or Redux.
• Hands on experience with Micro Frontend architecture and Module Federation.
• Experience with Web Components.

4. Testing, Build Tools & AI

• Experience with GitHub Copilot, prompts/instructions, and AI assisted development.
• Proficiency in testing frameworks: Jasmine, Jest, Mocha, Cypress.
• Strong knowledge of build tools such as Webpack.
