Senior Frontend Engineer / UI Engineer
POSITION LOCATION: Pittsburgh, PA, 15222 - 5 DAYS ONSITE/WEEK
LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT: 9 Months Contract to Hire role
Pay Range: $50 to 65/hr. on W2 ONLY
FUNCTION OF THE GROUP: Mitigating Risk/Cost Reduction
INDUSTRY BACKGROUND: Developer and Banking Domain (Client Preferred)
ROLE/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Will be working in Agile Team environment, which requires good communication and team collaboration.
Build UI components for use by other developers through a library.
Modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt it to new hardware or to upgrade interfaces and improve performance.
Design and develop software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.
Consult with engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, develop specifications and performance requirements and resolve customer problems.
Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures.
MUST HAVE SKILLS Required (6 - 8 years of experience required):
1. Expertise in Frontend & Microapp Development,
2. Angular/Typescript,
3. Collaborative Interface Design Tool (ex: Figma),
4. Building/maintaining reusable UI components,
5. Building/maintaining Design Systems,
6. Storybook,
7. Experience generating clear documentation of components for development use,
Bitbucket,
8. Jenkins and CI/CD Pipeline use and maintenance,
9. Web Accessibility (A11y)
FLEX SKILLS Required:
1. Experience working between teams,
2. Cross functional communication between teams,
3. Great Collaboration skills/team player,
4. Financial services background, a plus.
EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree Minimum
Pre-SCREENING QUESTIONS:
