Senior Frontend / Next.js Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Frontend Developer with strong Next.js experience to join a development team working on modern, scalable web applications. Next.js is the primary skill for this position, with strong React and TypeScript experience also required. Experience with Sitecore JSS is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance frontend applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript

• Build applications leveraging SSR (Server-Side Rendering), SSG (Static Site Generation), and incremental/static rendering capabilities

• Develop reusable React components, hooks, and frontend functionality

• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and services

• Optimize application performance using Next.js best practices, including code splitting and lazy loading

• Write and maintain unit tests using Jest

• Support end-to-end testing across UI and API integrations

• Participate in CI/CD, build configuration, and development environment setup

• Collaborate with backend developers, UI/UX designers, QA, and other members of the development team

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to development best practices

• Work within an Agile development environment

• Support SEO, performance, and frontend security best practices

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Next.js

• Strong experience with React and TypeScript

• Experience developing modern, responsive web applications

• Understanding of SSR and SSG within Next.js

• Experience integrating frontend applications with APIs

• Experience with Jest or similar testing frameworks

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices

• Experience with Sitecore JSS is a plus

• Experience with Sitecore Experience Editor integration is a plus

• Ability to work onsite in Jersey City 1 day per week

• Must be able to work on a W2 basis
