Be Part Of A High-Performing Team:

Join a newly forming rapid innovation technology team within a large enterprise beverage manufacturing and distribution environment. This group is being built to move quickly, partner directly with business stakeholders, and deliver practical technology solutions that create near-term business value. The team will focus on MVPs, proof-of-concept applications, AI-enabled tools, and scalable technical foundations that can later be expanded by enterprise delivery teams. This is a highly collaborative environment where developers will help test new ideas, prove feasibility, and shape how emerging technology is adopted across the organization.

What's In Store For You:

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity designed for a senior engineer who wants to help build a new innovation function from the ground up. The role offers the chance to work on high-visibility initiatives, use AI aggressively in daily engineering work, and contribute to solutions that can influence broader enterprise technology direction. The position is based onsite four days per week in Charlotte, NC, and is intended for candidates interested in long-term conversion to full-time employment. Engagement is W2 only with no C2C, 1099, subcontractor, sponsorship, or student visa arrangements.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Build rapid MVPs, proof-of-concept applications, and early-stage solution frameworks that prove technical feasibility and business value.
  • Partner directly with business stakeholders to understand opportunities, clarify problems, and turn ideas into working technology.
  • Develop backend services, APIs, business logic, integrations, and data-driven application components.
  • Create scalable technical skeletons that can be handed off to enterprise delivery teams for full product buildout.
  • Aggressively use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, Azure OpenAI, or similar tools to accelerate coding, testing, debugging, documentation, prototyping, and solution design.
  • Incorporate AI into solution concepts, including intelligent workflows, chatbots, RAG-style patterns, recommendation tools, automation, or AI-enabled business applications.
  • Work across full stack technologies including C#, .NET, Blazor, Angular, Node.js, Python, Microsoft SQL Server, Snowflake, APIs, and related development tools.
  • Collaborate closely with architecture and development leaders to evaluate technology choices and establish reusable patterns.
  • Participate in Agile-style collaboration while operating in a faster, more experimental, business-connected innovation model.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems, validate concepts, document patterns, and help define how successful prototypes can scale.

Are you an experienced full stack engineer ready to build AI-enabled innovation solutions?

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong full stack development background with heavier emphasis on backend, APIs, integrations, SQL, and business logic.
  • Hands-on experience with C#, .NET, Microsoft SQL Server, and API development.
  • Experience with Microsoft-based development environments; Blazor experience is a strong plus.
  • Ability to work with modern front-end or full stack frameworks such as Angular, Blazor, Node.js, or similar technologies.
  • Strong SQL skills and ability to pass a practical SQL assessment.
  • Experience with relational data concepts; Snowflake experience is a plus.
  • Heavy hands-on use of AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, Azure OpenAI, or similar.
  • Ability to clearly explain how AI is used in daily development for coding, unit testing, debugging, refactoring, documentation, SQL support, API scaffolding, or design exploration.
  • Hands-on curiosity or experience with AI-enabled solutions such as chatbots, RAG implementations, intelligent search, recommendation tools, automation, or AI workflows.
  • Ability to validate AI-generated code for security, performance, architecture, and correctness before committing.
  • Ability to learn new tools quickly, choose the right technology for the job, and adapt across languages or frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, communication skills, and collaborative working style.
