Morton is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer for a 6–12 month contract engagement with the potential to convert to a full-time role. This is an opportunity to work on backend engineering, systems integration, and full-stack application development in a fast-moving environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in TypeScript/JavaScript, backend architecture, API integrations, and cloud-based development in Microsoft Azure.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using TypeScript and JavaScript
  • Build and optimize backend services and system integrations
  • Develop and manage API connections, including integrating and orchestrating data between multiple external/internal APIs
  • Create scalable, secure, and maintainable application architecture
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define technical requirements and implementation plans
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application and integration issues
  • Contribute to cloud-native deployments and infrastructure in Azure
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of full stack development experience
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript
  • Deep backend engineering experience, including APIs and integrations
  • Hands-on experience connecting and integrating multiple APIs
  • Experience building and deploying applications in Microsoft Azure
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, and performance optimization
  • Experience with modern development workflows, version control, and CI/CD
