Our client, an investment firm, is seeking a Senior Full-Stack/Developer Experience Engineer to join their team in New York, NY!
AIVA is the firm's governed AI execution platform, built to give engineers and business users a secure, scalable way to build and run AI enabled software and workflows in their controlled environments. The ideal candidate will own the self-service experience through which engineers and business users consume AIVA. You will build the web, API and developer-facing experiences that make advanced AI platform capabilities discoverable, understandable and easy to use, including a reusable skills marketplace and workflows for creating, publishing and operating automation.
Responsibilities:- Design and build AIVA self-service experiences across modern web applications, backend services and developer-facing APIs.
- Build and evolve the skills marketplace so teams can create, publish, discover and reuse common AI and automation capabilities.
- Create intuitive workflows for configuring AI capabilities, launching work, monitoring execution, diagnosing failures and understanding platform status.
- Develop SDKs, CLIs or other developer tooling where they improve the platform experience and reduce friction.
- Work directly with engineers and business practitioners to identify usability gaps and translate feedback into product improvements.
- Instrument user journeys and platform interactions so adoption, friction and product outcomes can be measured and improved.
Qualifications:- Strong full-stack engineering experience across modern front-end applications, backend services and APIs.
- Experience building developer tools, internal platforms, developer portals, workflow products, low-code platforms or comparable self-service systems.
- Excellent product and UX instincts, with the ability to make technically complex capabilities simple for users.
- Experience designing extensible systems such as plugin ecosystems, marketplaces or reusable component frameworks is highly relevant.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and AI-enabled products, plus a strong bias toward instrumentation, usability and operational quality.
Pay Rate: $90 - $110/hr
