Randstad is seeking a high-performing Senior Full-Stack Developer (Java / Angular / AWS) for a prominent client based in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and modernization of scalable enterprise applications, leveraging Angular for responsive front-end interfaces and Java Spring Boot microservices for server-side logic. You will architect robust, cloud-native solutions using a broad suite of AWS services, implement event-driven architectures, and drive automated CI/CD practices to ensure rapid, secure deployment. Ideal candidates bring deep hands-on full-stack expertise, strong system design principles, and a continuous-improvement mindset to foster modern engineering standards within a dynamic team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Architect, build, and maintain front-end web applications using Angular, ensuring high performance, accessibility, and modern UI practices.
Design, implement, and optimize scalable Java Spring Boot microservices and RESTful APIs.
Deploy, manage, and monitor cloud-native infrastructure and serverless workloads on AWS (Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, EventBridge, VPC, SQS, SNS).
Establish and refine CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline to ensure automated testing and seamless deployments.
Integrate observability, performance monitoring, and secure key management using tools such as Dynatrace and AWS Secrets Manager.
Collaborate with cross-functional architecture and DevOps teams to drive event-driven application architectures and enterprise cloud best practices.
Qualifications & Skills
Front-End: High proficiency in Angular (and modern web technologies HTML5/CSS3/TypeScript); experience with Mobile/Ionic frameworks is a plus.
Back-End: Extensive hands-on programming experience with Java and Python, featuring deep expertise in Spring Boot microservices and RESTful API development.
Cloud & Serverless (AWS): Hands-on experience with core AWS services, including AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, ECS, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, VPC, EventBridge, and Secrets Manager.
DevOps & CI/CD: Hands-on experience creating and maintaining pipelines via GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.
Monitoring & Tooling: Familiarity with Dynatrace Observability, Git/GitHub, GitHub Copilot, Adobe ecosystem products (e.g., AEM), and event-driven messaging architectures.
