Senior Full Stack Developer – Java, Spring Boot & Angular

Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer – Java, Spring Boot & Angular for their New York, NY/Hybrid location.
 
Responsibilities:

• Design and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance backend applications using Java 17+ and modern development frameworks.
• Build, enhance, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices utilizing Spring Boot 3.3.x.
• Develop and optimize data persistence layers using JPA/Hibernate with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Design and implement event-driven solutions utilizing Kafka and Message Queue (MQ) technologies.
• Containerize applications using Docker and support deployment in cloud-native environments.
• Develop responsive and modern user interfaces using Angular 17+/19+ and the latest TypeScript versions.
• Collaborate with frontend and backend teams to ensure seamless system integration and end-to-end functionality.
• Participate in software architecture decisions and technology selection aligned with business objectives.
• Write clean, maintainable, secure, and scalable code following enterprise development standards.
• Manage source code using Git and support automated deployment through CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Strong hands-on experience with Java 17+ development.
• Expertise in Spring Boot 3.3.x, Spring Framework, and Microservices Architecture.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs and web services.
• Strong knowledge of JPA/Hibernate and ORM frameworks.
• Experience with Angular 17+/19+ and modern TypeScript development.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, MQ, and event-driven architecture patterns.
• Experience with Docker containerization technologies.
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
• Working knowledge of Camunda workflow/process automation tools.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases including:
• Oracle
• PostgreSQL
• MySQL
• MongoDB
• Understanding of software design patterns, architectural principles, and best practices.
• Experience performing unit testing, integration testing, and troubleshooting production issues.
• Cloud & DevOps
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as:
• AWS
• Microsoft Azure
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Understanding of cloud-native application development and deployment strategies.

• Knowledge of workflow orchestration and business process automation using Camunda.
• Experience with enterprise messaging and event streaming platforms.
• Exposure to modern DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
• Education & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of software development experience with enterprise Java applications.
• 3+ years of experience developing full-stack solutions using Angular and Java-based microservices.
