The role will develop, enhance, and maintain applications across a Python, Angular, REST API, and Oracle stack using the proprietary Quartz platform.Project: Granite Valuation ControlThe position offers exposure to a dynamic environment and collaboration with senior stakeholders within the Bank of America Global Markets CFO Group.Responsibilities: Design and develop object-oriented software in Python using the Quartz platform and object-oriented databases. Build and maintain grid-computing workflows for high-volume data processing. Develop data transfer tooling to replicate data from NoSQL datastores to Oracle Exadata. Design and implement RESTful web services and define UI-to-API integration contracts. Build data-grid-centric UIs with Angular (15.x or later). Participate fully in the software development lifecycle and Agile ceremonies. Contribute to test-driven development, functional testing, and continuous integration practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: 6-10 years of overall technology experience. 6-10 years designing and developing in an object-oriented language such as Java, C++, or C#. 3-5 years of professional Python development. 6-10 years designing and tuning SQL schemas and queries, preferably on Oracle. Experience with data replication between NoSQL stores and relational databases. Proficiency building RESTful services and integrating Angular front ends with APIs. Exposure to grid computing and high data volume processing. Experience with Git and npm; Angular 15.x or later is a plus. Familiarity with Agile practices including pair programming and daily stand-ups. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Skills: Experience across multiple languages and technologies, especially C++/Java and Python. Experience with test-driven development, functional testing, and CI pipelines. Relevant finance or banking experience in middle/back office domains. Knowledge of the Independent Price Verification process.
