    Description

    Senior Full Stack Developer- REMOTE

    Full-time or Contract-to-Hire (W2 only)

Remote anywhere in the U.S. Preferred candidates are located in the Eastern Time Zone, with proximity to New York/New Jersey considered a plus. Candidates who are willing to go on site in the Morristown location will be prioritized.

We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join a growing engineering team focused on building and modernizing enterprise applications. This is an opportunity to work on greenfield initiatives, redesign existing platforms, and deliver scalable solutions that have a direct impact on the business.

This is not a traditional development role where work is handed down through user stories. The ideal candidate is comfortable working directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements, propose technical solutions, navigate ambiguity, and own projects from design through implementation.

    Responsibilities

    • Design, develop, and modernize enterprise applications using Angular and/or React, .NET/C#, Azure, REST APIs, and cloud technologies.
    • Partner directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and drive projects from concept through delivery.
    • Build scalable, secure, and maintainable applications using modern software engineering best practices.
    • Participate in architecture discussions, solution design, code reviews, and application deployments.
    • Work autonomously with minimal supervision, helping define technical direction by prototyping solutions and navigating ambiguous business requirements.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams while taking ownership of projects from concept through production.
    • Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or similar technologies to improve developer productivity and software quality. Candidates should be able to describe how they have used these tools in real-world projects.

    Qualifications

    • 10+ years of full-stack software development experience.
    • Strong experience with Angular and/or React.
    • Strong experience with .NET/C#, ASP.NET Core, and REST APIs.
    • Experience with Azure and modern cloud-native application development.
    • Experience designing and building enterprise applications from the ground up.
    • Strong understanding of microservices, system integrations, and modern software architecture.
    • Demonstrated hands-on experience using AI code-generation tools (such as Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar) as part of the software development lifecycle. This experience should be clearly reflected in project work, not simply listed as a skill.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders, gather requirements, challenge assumptions when appropriate, and confidently present technical solutions.
    • Banking or financial services experience is required

    What Makes This Opportunity Different

This role offers the opportunity to build new applications rather than simply maintain existing ones. You'll have the autonomy to influence technical decisions, collaborate closely with business partners, prototype solutions, and help shape applications from initial concept through production delivery. We're looking for engineers who thrive in ambiguous environments, communicate confidently, embrace AI-assisted development, and enjoy taking ownership of meaningful business problems.
