Senior Full Stack Software Engineer
Location: Reston, VA
Contract: 7-Months with potential extension based on business needs
Compensation: $87.32/hr W2
About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to help build and enhance highly scalable cloud-based applications. This role will focus on full stack development using modern JavaScript technologies and AWS serverless architecture while contributing to automated testing, system reliability, and platform innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain full stack applications
- Build and support AWS serverless solutions
- Develop backend services and frontend applications using Node.js and React
- Create and maintain automated testing frameworks and test tools
- Support CI/CD and testing environments
- Build systems for data monitoring and telemetry collection
- Collaborate with Agile teams, product partners, and technical stakeholders
- Participate in production support and continuous improvement initiatives
Education & Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree required (analytical or technical field preferred)
- 5-7+ years of software engineering experience
- Experience developing applications in highly scalable environments
- Experience working within Agile teams

- AWS Serverless Architecture
- AWS Lambda
- AWS DynamoDB
- AWS S3
- AWS SNS/SQS
- PostgreSQL and/or NoSQL databases
- Full Stack Software Development
- Automated API Testing
- End-to-End (E2E) Testing
- CI/CD environments
- Cloud application development
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- AWS Certification (Associate or higher)
- Experience with chaos testing
- Production support experience
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Experience working across development, testing, and support functions
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced Agile environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
