Summary:

In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.

Supports RAPU, Regulatory and Policy Updates. Application is policy governance platform, number of users have increased over the years. Multiple parallel initiatives on the application. Full stack of Java will include Angular UI, Rest API's, and SQL database with focus on the Angular front end. If not a full stack developer across all 3 parts, needs to have Angular front end and 1 other component. React is ok, will mean they've worked with Angular.

Required Qualifications:

• Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development using Java, Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, XML, JSON, RESTful APIs, JDBC, JPA, and Unit Testing frameworks.
• 6+ years of experience developing responsive and scalable user interfaces using Angular.
• 3+ years of experience in SQL Server database development, including query optimization, stored procedures, and data modeling.
• Strong understanding of J2EE architecture, object-oriented design principles, and industry-standard design patterns.
• Proven experience designing, developing, and supporting microservices-based applications.
• Experience implementing and supporting DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.
• Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence for project tracking, documentation, and team collaboration.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across development, QA, product, and operations teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience leveraging GitHub Copilot, GitHub Copilot Agent, Devin, or other AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, and productivity enhancement.
• Knowledge of application monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, or similar platforms.
