Job Title
Senior Full Stack Java Developer (Java, Spring Boot, GCP)
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable API solutions and backend services supporting customer-facing applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, cloud technologies, and modern software development practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend services and APIs.
- Develop and maintain Java-based microservices using Spring Boot.
- Build scalable, data-driven application features.
- Develop and maintain full stack applications using Java and modern frontend frameworks.
- Design and improve Natural Language Understanding (NLU) capabilities for chatbot solutions.
- Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) patterns to support accurate chatbot responses using approved technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot reported software issues and provide effective resolutions.
- Maintain accurate issue tracking and documentation using Jira.
- Perform security scanning and ensure APIs comply with established security standards.
- Participate in Agile development using Test Driven Development (TDD) and CI/CD practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 5+ years of Java development experience.
- 5+ years of experience with one or more of the following technologies:
- Java
- Spring Boot
- Angular
- React
- AWS
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- APIs
- 3+ years of experience with Spring and Spring Boot.
- 3+ years of experience with software development tools including Jira, GitHub, Test Management, and CI/CD tools (Tekton, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions).
- 3+ years of experience with Agile methodologies and Test Driven Development (TDD).
- 2+ years of experience working in cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Microservices architecture.
