Job Description

We are seeking an Application Programmer III to join our dynamic team supporting the RMS Replacement initiative. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and React and a proven ability to design, build, and deploy scalable full-stack applications in an Agile environment. This role is onsite and targets a June/July start.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain full-stack applications aligned with enterprise standards.
• Build and enhance Java REST APIs and React-based web applications.
• Collaborate with business partners to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, refinement, planning, demos, and retrospectives.
• Enable automated and manual testing with quality engineering teams.
• Partner with infrastructure and platform teams for production deployments and support transitions.
• Follow enterprise methodologies, coding standards, security guidelines, and documentation practices.
• Continuously learn business processes, frameworks, and emerging technologies to improve the platform.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 7+ years of Java with strong Core Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API design and development.
• 3+ years of front-end development with ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Experience with microservices architectures and service integration.
• Proficiency with SQL and relational databases; familiarity with NoSQL is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based version control, and automated testing frameworks.

Preferred Skills:

• Enterprise security concepts: OAuth2, JWT, API security, and secure coding practices.
• Observability and monitoring: logging, metrics, tracing, and production support readiness.
• CI/CD and DevSecOps tools: Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, Artifactory, Ansible/Ansible Tower with automation and vulnerability remediation.
• Scalable system design and event-driven architectures such as Kafka.
• Data transformation, extraction, and migration; Oracle performance tuning and impact analysis with DBAs.
• Cloud-native development on AWS and/or Azure with modern deployment and scalability patterns.
• Containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
