Overview: This role is frontend-focused (React/TypeScript) with ownership of supporting Node.js/Express APIs and AWS cloud deployments.
Responsibilities include:
-Independently design and implement features from requirements through production deployment
-Break down complex customer requirements into technical solutions with minimal oversight
-Perform root-cause analysis and resolve complex frontend and integration issues
-Participate in architecture discussions and provides technical recommendations
-Review code and contributes to engineering best practices
Basic Requirements
- Active TS/SCI (CI Poly preferred but not required)
- React/Typescript experience
- Expert-level experience building enterprise-scale React applications using modern React patterns, hooks, context, reusable component design, routing, asynchronous data fetching, performance optimization, and TypeScript
- Node.js / Express.js & REST API Integration –
-Experience designing, developing, and maintaining secure RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
-Proficient in implementing business logic, middleware, authentication, validation, and integrating frontend applications with backend services, enterprise workflows, and data models.
- Modern state management
- Experience managing complex application state using modern React patterns (Context, Zustand, TanStack Query, reducers) for enterprise workflows and interactive data visualization
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS CDK experience
- Experience developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK (TypeScript) for application deployments and cloud resources (Lambda, ECS, Fargate, S3, RDS, ALB,..)
- Experience with Customer facing Development
- Ability to work directly with technical leads and customers to rapidly prototype, iterate, and deliver features based on operational feedback
