Key Responsibilities

• Develop modern web applications, APIs, and enterprise integrations.
• Design and build cloud-native solutions on Azure and/or GCP.
• Implement scalable microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Support CI/CD, DevOps, and application security best practices.
• Integrate AI/LLM capabilities into business workflows.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and business stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical standards.
• Support Operational Excellence (OE) initiatives, including:
  • Design automation
  • Design validation
  • Permit automation
• Support AI solutions, including:
  • Obi: New-joiner onboarding concierge
  • NOVA: AI-powered workflow orchestration

AI/Cloud Requirements

• 1 of 4 positions: Full-stack development + AI experience with GCP.
• 3 of 4 positions: Full-stack development + AI experience within the Azure AI ecosystem.
• Experience using AI throughout the SDLC.
• Experience implementing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation).
• Experience evaluating LLMs.
• Experience with AI-enabled applications.
• Knowledge of:
  • Azure OpenAI
  • Vertex AI
  • RAG
  • Generative AI solutions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of full-stack software development experience.
• Strong experience with:
  • Next.js
  • TypeScript
  • Python
  • PostgreSQL
  • Drizzle and/or SQLAlchemy ORM
  • REST APIs and microservices
  • SQL/NoSQL databases
  • Azure and/or GCP
  • Git, CI/CD, and DevOps
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building AI-enabled applications.
• Experience with enterprise workflow automation and integrations.
• Familiarity with utility, engineering, construction, or permitting systems.
