Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Functional QA for a Contract with a client in Hamilton, NJ. The ideal candidate is experienced in designing and executing test strategies, reconciling financial data, and ensuring the accuracy of transactions, balances, holdings, and other wealth management workflows.

Rate Range: $53/Hour to $56/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Senior Functional QA Job Responsibilities include:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Wealth Management and BFSI applications.

• Perform end-to-end functional, regression, API, mobile, integration, and sanity testing to ensure application quality and stability.

• Design and conduct data validation and reconciliation testing using Advanced SQL to verify financial transactions, balances, holdings, and account data accuracy.

• Collaborate with business, product, and engineering teams to understand requirements, validate business rules, and ensure accurate implementation of financial calculations and workflows.

• Identify, investigate, and document defects in Azure DevOps, providing detailed root cause analysis and business impact assessment.

• Create and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts using Playwright with JavaScript to improve test coverage, efficiency, and release quality.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience in Software Testing/QA within the BFSI domain, with a strong focus on Wealth Management applications.

• Hands-on experience with Playwright (JavaScript) for test automation and Advanced SQL for data validation, reconciliation, and financial data testing.

• Strong knowledge of Wealth Management processes, including accounts, holdings, positions, transactions, balances, fees, valuations, and corporate actions.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
