Senior Fund Accountant | Private Equity | Dallas, TX

About the Opportunity

We are seeking individuals with experience in fund accounting, financial reporting, investor reporting, and capital activity who are interested in exploring opportunities with leading investment management platforms. These opportunities offer strong exposure to senior leadership, career advancement, and the chance to work in dynamic, fast-paced investment environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual fund financial statements

• Support quarterly NAV calculations and investor reporting processes

• Execute capital calls, distributions, and investor allocations

• Reconcile investment activity, partner capital accounts, and cash transactions

• Coordinate with external fund administrators, auditors, tax providers, and internal stakeholders

• Assist with year-end audits and compliance reporting requirements

• Prepare management reports and ad hoc financial analyses for senior leadership

• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal controls

• Participate in process improvement and automation initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

• 3+ years of experience in fund accounting, private equity accounting, public accounting, or alternative investments

• Understanding of private equity fund structures and partnership accounting

• Experience with capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting

• Strong Excel skills

• CPA or CPA-track preferred, but not required

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $90,000 - $130,000
