Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations
Manage multi‑entity accounting, including intercompany transactions and consolidations
Review monthly financial reporting completed by third‑party property managers
Record fair value adjustments, equity in earnings, minority interest, and fund‑level transactions
Draft quarterly fund‑level financial statements and client reporting packages
Prepare audit and tax workpapers and support annual audit activities
Maintain strong internal controls, documentation, and scalable processes
Collaborate with property accountants, banking partners, and asset managers
Qualifications:
4-5+ years of accounting experience; real estate experience strongly preferred
Well versed in tanant ledgers, rent roll, capital improvement, CAM calculations, etc.
Public accounting + private industry blend is a plus
Strong understanding of GAAP, consolidations, and equity method accounting
Highly detail‑oriented, analytical, and organized
Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly
Advanced Excel skills; MRI is a bonus
