A leading asset manager, private equity firm, or alternative investment platform may seek a Senior Fund Strategy Specialist to support fund-level strategy, investor positioning, portfolio construction insights, and capital formation initiatives.
This role sits at the intersection of investment strategy, fundraising, and executive decision support. It is well-suited for professionals with strong analytical depth, market perspective, and the ability to translate complex investment concepts into clear strategic narratives for internal and external stakeholders.
Develop and refine fund-level strategy across private equity, credit, real assets, or multi-asset investment vehicles
Partner with investment teams to translate portfolio strategy into investor-facing positioning and materials
Conduct market and competitive analysis to assess fund differentiation, pricing, and product strategy
Support capital formation efforts, including fundraising strategy, LP targeting, and investor communications
Prepare strategic materials including fund decks, annual letters, investment theses, and market outlooks
Analyze portfolio construction, risk exposure, and performance drivers at the fund level
Coordinate cross-functionally with investment, IR, product, and executive leadership teams
Contribute to new fund launches, strategy pivots, and long-term platform growth initiatives
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline (MBA or CFA preferred)
5–10+ years of experience in asset management, private equity, fund strategy, investor relations, or investment banking
Strong understanding of private markets, fund structures, and institutional investor expectations
Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and presentation skills
Ability to synthesize complex investment data into clear, compelling narratives
Experience supporting fundraising, LP engagement, or product strategy initiatives
Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; comfort working with performance and portfolio data
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and executives
