Senior GenAI Developer

Client Overview:
Our client is a large, established organization seeking an experienced Senior GenAI Developer to help build and enhance enterprise AI and automation solutions. This team is focused on using Microsoft's AI ecosystem to improve internal workflows, knowledge access, and employee productivity.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
$55/hr - $70/hr

Position Overview:
The Senior GenAI Developer will build enterprise conversational AI solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem. This individual will develop intelligent AI agents and workplace assistants while securely connecting them to internal data, applications, and knowledge sources.
The role will work heavily with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, Power Virtual Agents, Azure AI Search, and related Microsoft technologies.

Responsibilities of the Senior GenAI Developer:

• Build and enhance enterprise conversational AI agents and digital assistants.
• Develop solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Virtual Agents, and Azure OpenAI.
• Connect AI agents securely to internal enterprise data and applications.
• Design integrations using Microsoft Graph API, Dataverse, and custom APIs.
• Build RAG-based solutions for enterprise knowledge search and retrieval.
• Utilize Azure AI Search and vector-based technologies to provide relevant, context-aware responses.
• Develop integrations between AI solutions and existing business systems.
• Build automated workflows using Power Automate.
• Support Power Apps and other Microsoft-based business applications as needed.
• Ensure solutions follow enterprise standards for security, scalability, reliability, and data access.

Required Experience/Skills for the Senior GenAI Developer:

• Strong hands-on experience developing conversational or Generative AI applications.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Virtual Agents.
• Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI Service.
• Experience designing and implementing RAG solutions.
• Experience with Azure AI Search and vector search/vector databases.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Graph API and Microsoft Dataverse.
• Experience integrating enterprise applications and APIs.
• Strong understanding of secure enterprise AI and data-access patterns.
• Ability to design, build, and deploy production-ready AI solutions.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior GenAI Developer:

• Experience with Power Automate and complex cloud workflows.
• Experience with Power Apps.
• Experience connecting AI agents to custom APIs and backend systems.
• Familiarity with enterprise AI governance and security practices.
• Experience working within large-scale enterprise technology environments.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline preferred.
• Equivalent professional experience will be considered.
