Position Summary:

This role is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting a wide range of building systems, while also serving as a go-to resource for less experienced team members. You'll bring both technical expertise and a service mindset-ensuring issues are resolved quickly, safely, and with minimal disruption to patient care.
What You'll Do
Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance across facility systems
Troubleshoot and repair:
Electrical distribution systems
HVAC and mechanical systems
Plumbing and piping systems
Power generation equipment
Medical gas systems
Building structures and infrastructure
Support system reliability through routine inspections and proactive maintenance
Respond to urgent issues with a calm, solutions-focused approach
Ensure all work is completed in alignment with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and hospital policies
Provide guidance and support to junior team members, helping build team capability
Partner with clinical and operational teams to ensure a safe and uninterrupted care environment
Position Qualification:
What You Bring
High School Diploma or GED required
Experience in facilities or maintenance within:
Healthcare setting preferred, or
Commercial/industrial environment with comparable systems
Demonstrated experience working across multiple building systems (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, etc.)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment
Commitment to safety, teamwork, and service excellence
