You will have a high level of accountability for all retail store functions and for communicating and implementing the company vision by directing the day-to-day activities of the entire store staff. You will be driving for high-performance results within a fast-paced sales environment, focusing on optimizing customer and employee experience, and acting as a mentor for your Assistant General Manager. You will also complete training courses and attend weekly sales leadership calls. This is an hourly role.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Management - Selecting, hiring, and developing the best talent - and yourself

Own the hiring process for your store: interview, select, and bring in the best talent - treat recruiting as core to this role, not an afterthought squeezed in between shifts

Support, coach, and mentor sales associates to achieve store goals

Teach and model the sales process with Every Guest, Every Time

Provide ongoing sales training and support to help the team exceed sales, retention, quality, and service objectives

Attend required manager trainings, roundtables, and group sessions to keep growing as a leader yourself

Results Driven - Owning store and employee success

Take ownership for store and employee success, including work-related needs

Ensure employees meet monthly success measurements and complete assigned training on time

Support proper staffing, scheduling, labor controls, marketing, loss prevention, and other store functions

Maintain store performance by supporting inventory compliance

Keep score daily - review store and personal metrics every day rather than waiting for the monthly review

Customer Focus - Delivering complete solutions on escalations

Reinforce the standard Victra Greet across your store - introduce yourself, get the guest's name, and ask what brings them in - every guest, every time

Assist with guest escalations and resolve issues in a timely manner

Stay up to date with sales promotions and ensure guests receive complete solutions for their needs

Relationship Building - Earning trust across the store and the district

Assist in attracting and retaining top-caliber employees

Build relationships with fellow General Managers and Assistant General Managers across the district to share what's working

Change Management - Piloting what's next

Help implement sales tools and initiatives as they roll out

Create and implement innovative ways to drive traffic to the store and capitalize on the existing customer base

Participate in special projects and pilots as assigned

Strategic Thinking - Showcasing the business, not just the shift

Engage in sales strategy development to showcase products and services throughout the store

Inspirational Leadership - Leading as a brand advocate

Act as a brand advocate for Victra

Communicate company objectives and priorities to team members

What We Are Looking For

You thrive in a sales environment and sharing this energy with a team that you can develop and motivate excites you most. You set the bar high when it comes to achieving goals, and you know how to motivate others to help you get there.

1-3 years of experience in a retail sales environment, with some leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Proven track record of achieving team and individual sales goals

Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Experience setting goals, evaluating performance, and developing a high-performing team

Basic interview skills and staffing knowledge

High school diploma or GED

One or more years of customer service, preferably in retail or sales

Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and during peak periods

At least 18 years of age

Legally authorized to work in the United States

Compensation

We are proud our Senior General Manager's earn a base pay of $24.00 per hour with a targeted #All_In pay of $38.76 per hour, combining a base hourly rate, uncapped commission, and a monthly store bonus based on your store's attainment level. Add in frequent contests and incentives throughout the year, and top performers have real, uncapped earning potential that stacks up against any hourly leadership role in wireless retail.
