- To build voice/digital bots in Genesys Cloud CX, any required integrations, additional technical skills may be valuable or necessary.
Integration & Backend Skills-- Working with APIs to exchange information with other tools
- Writing scripts or code to handle special logic
- REST APIs: For connecting to external systems, databases, or services using Genesys APIs (users, conversations, analytics, etc.)
- OAuth & Authentication: Managing secure access when calling external systems
- configuring and customizing.
Optional but Valuable Programming Skills-- Need additional skills on advanced or customized bot needs to be. For example:
- JavaScript – Often used when building connectors between Genesys and other systems. It can also help add extra logic behind the scenes (like in cloud environments such as AWS).
